Dollings & Dandys...

We started a new series of Dolls called, 'Dollings & Dandy's' which has more focus on tailored & sculpted details. These are more worked and more time consuming. Lots of fun to make!  Batiste Tail coats and fluffy layered dresses or in the Dandy's case, gentlemans trousers.  They both wear chiffon tights and have sculpted boots/shoes/top hats/bow ties.  We're sticking to a limited palette inspired by Flora & Fauna, (as usual). Sage, Violet & Chamomile and the shimmering jewel tones of the insects.

Poseable wings & Floppy Limbs.

☛This Green Apple Dragon  was recently made using my current favorite silk that features dragonfly wings.

Copper is soldered together to keep him on his feet.

Today I made this custom ordered white mouse. A bit of goofiness was requested. *) I think he turned out cute & mischievous, as well. Silk, copper & clay.

This Dragon is quite large and made from a beautiful silk in the Art Nouveau style which gives it a nice yellow jacket or wasp effect. He's apart of the compassionate dragon series that I've been working on this last year.
